This is truely a favourite of mine. I took this photograph at Melbourne Zoo. There was some keepers doing some cleaning in the night cages, at the time I visited the lion enclosure and much to my excitement all the lions were alert and posing for me, rather than the usual lying around in the sun, that has frequented my visits in the past. Needless to say I didnt waste the opportunity. This lovely boy seemed to capture the essence of regal presence, hence his name. He is professionally framed in timber with a black 100mm top mount and a rust marbled inner mount, with his final size being 1000 x 750mm. making him quite a grand statement.

'A Bygone Era'

This is a stone hut that I photographed in the neighbouring town of Inverleigh. I have driven past it so often and finally decided what a lovely painting this would be. It apparently was a overnight shack that travellers used on long trips and although roughly built has remarkably stood the test of time.
